I know it’s early but this year The Sketchbook Project is going international! Before being cataloged permanently in the Brooklyn Art Library your sketchbook will visit 12 North American cities then head across the world. There are just under 40 themes to get your creative juices flowing. You also have the option to digitize your entire sketchbook for $20. For more information and project deadlines check out the official Sketchbook Project website.
You can’t go wrong with a little Rump Shaker by WRECKX-N-EFFECT.
What made me think of this 90′s classic “Whoomp There It Is” was the original “I’m Ready” which was released back in 1980 by Kano. Check it out below. READ MORE →
With all the new dj software and midi controllers coming out these days I was pretty impressed when I saw what the new Pioneer DJM 900 nexus is capable of. There is something so nice about getting what you need straight from the mixer without the need of a computer. However this mixer is also pretty amazing when pairing up with a laptop. The DJM 900 nexus is equipped with a high-end 24bit/96khz sound card that can simultaneously input/output stereo sound from 4 inputs/outputs. The 900 nexus is also Traktor Scratch certified. I see this mixer being an all around good investment and have no doubt it will continue as an industry standard.
Take a minute and watch James Zabiela show you what this mixer is capable of.
Ok so even if this has been shared 1000 times. I still thought it was worth a post. Who would have thought time stretching the theme song to a movie could be so beautiful. The original Jurassic Park full length theme song is just under 8 minutes. However after being time stretched 1000% it plays out to almost an hour.
I just came across this pretty amazing video today. Some tech guru’s over at The Engineering Human-Computer Interaction (EHCI) Research Group have managed to use the front facing camera on the iPad 2 to track your head in 3D space creating a glasses-free monocular 3D display. Yeah… amazing!
