Entech Creative was in need of a fresh online presence. As an industry leader Entech needed to show their quality work and prove their safety giving potential clients confidence.

Designed and directed the creative. The site utilizes headings that are converted to Flash objects, a fully customized WordPress theme, and a customized SlideShow Pro portfolio with director cms tool.
Amy Guip Photography
OVERVIEW
Amy Guip, a photographer known for her collages and rich colors, was looking for someone to update her full Flash website.
DETAILS
Supplied with the designs by Amy my part was to take her designs and make them animate and flow together in Flash. Her portfolio is a highly customized SlideShow Pro component connected to a director CMS. The CMS gives her full control of her portfolio allowing her to add images, video, albums, and the ability to setup a password protected gallery for a specific client. Her site also includes a newsletter sign up form. When someone enters their info it is automatically added to the newsletter database.
Starting All Over Again
Every time a new Flash project comes my way I wonder, “Should I try and build this one using AS3?”. Actionscript 2 is now becoming outdated leaving me in the dust. I have to admit trying to learn AS3 is pretty much like starting all over again. I struggle to do the most simplest of things. Things I’ve done time and time again using AS2.
In hopes or teaching myself I have been using lynda.com. Lynda is a great learning tool and allows you to learn a lot quickly but, it doesn’t teach you everything in great detail. Hoping of picking up some more detailed information I remember purchasing the O’Reilly’s ActionScript: The Definitive Guide years back when it all started. O’Reilly makes great quick reference books that give highly detailed information.
So last night I made a trip over to Borders and picked up Essential ActionScript 3.0. I’ll keep you posted on my success wtih AS3. If you are in or have been in this same situation I would love to hear how you made the transition and what resources may have helped.
Coleman Technologies
OVERVIEW
Coleman Technologies, a leading-edge IT and systems engineering services company, was in need of an updated web presence to demonstrate their level of work.
DETAILS
I worked close with an agency to produce a clean modern corporate site design. An animated Flash banner which resides on the home page was also my responsibility to design and develop.
3M Face of Innovation
OVERVIEW
I worked close with a creative agency to build this interactive Flash video wall. Currently it runs on an LCD touch screen at 3M’s Innovation Center which introduces visitors to the people of 3M. The center has hosted more than 14,000 visitors and 285 events the first year it opened.
DETAILS
The Face of Innovation application introduces you to randomly chosen people currently working at 3M. Both applications can be viewed in 8 different languages which can be changed on the fly.
3M Legacy of Innovation
OVERVIEW
I worked close with a creative agency to build this interactive Flash video wall. Currently it runs on an LCD touch screen at 3M’s Innovation Center which introduces visitors to the people of 3M. The center has hosted more than 14,000 visitors and 285 events the first year it opened.

The Legacy application allows you to browse past and present innovators and learn what technologies they developed in 8 different languages.
